Understanding of Health and Public Health Behavior

Understanding of Health and Public Health Behavior
Understanding Public Health According to Winslow (1920) that Public Health (Public Health) is Science and Art: prevent disease, prolong life, and improve health, through “Community Organizing Efforts” to: (Notoatmodjo, 2003)
Improvement of environmental sanitation
Eradication of infectious diseases
Education for personal hygiene
Organizing medical services and treatments for early diagnosis and treatment.
Development of social engineering to ensure everyone is fulfilled the needs of a decent life in maintaining their health.
According to the American Medical Association (1948) Public Health Research Science is the science and art of maintaining, protecting and improving public health through community organizing efforts. From this limit it can be concluded that public health extends from dealing only with sanitation, sanitation techniques, curative medicine, preventive medicine to social science, and that is the scope of public health science.
Many disciplines are used as the basis of public health, among others, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Medicine, Environmental Health, Sociology, Education, Psychology, Anthropology, and others. Based on this reality public health science is a multidisciplinary science (Liopagarra Literature Reviews).
But in broad outline, the disciplines that underpin public health sciences, or often referred to as the main pillars of Public Health Sciences include:
Public Health Administration.
Health Education and Behavioral Sciences.
Biostatistics / Health Statistics.
Environmental Health.
Community Nutrition.
Occupational Health.
Why is public health a multi-disciplinary science, because basically public health problems are multi-disciplinary, so the solution must be multidisciplinary. Therefore, public health as an art or practice has a wide range. All activities both directly and indirectly to prevent disease (preventive), improve health (promotive), therapy (physical, mental, and social) or curative, as well as rehabilitation (rehabilitative) health (physical, mental, social) are public health efforts. (Notoatmodjo, 2003).
Broadly speaking, efforts that can be categorized as art or the application of public health sciences include the following:
Eradication of diseases, both infectious and non-communicable.
Improvement of environmental sanitation
Improvement of residential environment
Vector Eradication
Public health education
Maternal and Child Health Services
Community nutrition development
Sanitary Monitoring of Public Places
Drug and Beverage Supervision
Fostering Community Participation
Factors Affecting Public Health Behavior
In the world of public health, we certainly understand Bloom’s theory, which states that the degree of public health is determined by environmental factors, behavior, health services, and heredity.
Here are some opinions about the understanding and aspects that affect a person’s behavior.
Public health behavior theory. Human behavior is the result of all kinds of experiences and interactions between humans and the environment which are manifested in the form of knowledge, attitudes and actions. Behavior is formed through a process and takes place in human interaction and the environment. The factors that influence the formation of behavior can be divided into two, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include knowledge, intelligence, emotion, innovation and so on which serve to process stimuli from the outside.
External factors include the surrounding environment, both physical and non-physical such as climate, socio-economic, cultural and so on.
Behavior that is formed inside a person from two main factors, namely the stimulus which is a factor from outside oneself (external factors) and the response which is a factor from within the person concerned (internal factors). External factors or stimuli are environmental factors, both physical and non-physical environment in the form of socio-cultural, economic, political and so on. The most influential external factors in shaping human behavior are the social and cultural factors in which a person is located.
Internal factors that determine someone responding to external stimulus are attention, observation, perception of motivation, fantasy, suggestion and so on.
There are four ways to shape behavior, namely through positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, punishment and extinction. If a response is followed by something pleasant, the response is positive reinforcement. When a response is followed by stopping or withdrawing something unpleasant, it is called negative reinforcement. Both positive and negative reinforcement will determine the outcome of the learning process. Both strengthen responses and increase the likelihood of repeating behavior learned.
Punishment will result in an unpleasant condition in an attempt to get rid of an unwanted behavior. The process of forming attitudes and behaviors takes place gradually and through the learning process obtained from various experiences or connecting experiences with learning outcomes.
Another opinion states that behavior is a person’s response or reaction to a stimulus (stimulation from outside). Therefore behavior occurs through the process of stimulation of the organism and then the organism responds (Skinner’s theory or Stimulus-Organism-Response theory). Based on S-O-R theory, human behavior is grouped into two, namely closed behavior and open behavior. Covert behavior occurs when the response to the stimulus is still not clearly observable by others (from outside).
A person’s response is still limited in the form of attention, feelings, perceptions, knowledge and attitudes towards the stimulus concerned. Forms of covert behavior that can be measured are knowledge and attitudes. Whereas overt behavior occurs when the response to a stimulus has taken the form of an action or practice that can be observed from outside.
Behavior is a function of interaction between person or individual and their environment. A person’s behavior is determined by many factors. Sometimes a person’s behavior is influenced by their abilities, some are because of their needs and some are influenced by their expectations and environment. Behavior is a person’s response to stimuli originating from within and from outside himself. This response can be passive or without actions such as thinking, thinking, acting or being active or taking action.

Definition of Synopsis, Characteristics, Functions and Stages

Definition of Synopsis, Characteristics, Functions and Stages
In language lessons, synopsis becomes an interesting chapter to discuss. Synopsis is closely related to several learning media, such as novels, stories or even films. Of course, to be able to understand synopsis well, then having knowledge of synopsis understanding is the first thing you have to do.
Often, some people underestimate the meaning of something. They are reluctant to read what the initial definition of something. In fact, reading the definition is the first step to understanding something in more detail. Similarly, the synopsis. You must first understand the full definition of synopsis before getting to know other things.
Definition of Synopsis
So, what is the detailed definition of the synopsis? Well, according to experts on Journal Education Reviews, the meaning of synopsis is a summary or outline of the text which describes the contents of a book, film or even a performance that is done concretely or abstractly (According to Maferntrolin Education Reviews). From this understanding, it can be seen that synopsis is the result of summarizing source activities.
In use, synopsis is usually used to create a prologue in a script.
Well, this prolog is deliberately made as a form of initial description or short contents of the manuscript. It is said to be a summary of the manuscript because in reality the synopsis was only made with a few pages or about one fifth of the total manuscript.
Well, broadly speaking, the notion of synopsis is a summary of a text. A synopsis that can be made can be in the form of reading, film or staging.
This activity is very profitable to make an outline of the contents. In addition, for the makers of the synopsis, the results of the synopsis made can be evidence that he has read fully and understood the contents of the manuscript.

synopsis understanding
Synopsis characteristic
After discussing the definition of a synopsis, another thing to note is the characteristic of the synopsis. Knowing some of the characteristics of a synopsis is certainly important so that your knowledge becomes broader. So, what are the characteristics of the synopsis? Check out some of the reviews below.
The storyline remains the same
In making a synopsis, the story line will be maintained. As mentioned at the outset that the synopsis is a summary of the story. In this case, the story stored in the script will not be changed at all. It’s just that the story in the text will be summarized in such a way without changing the sequence of events that exist.
Use persuasive language
Unlike the original script, synopsis tends to use language that is more persuasive. This persuasive language is a special feature of synopsis. Of course, the use of persuasive language is not without reason.
Persuasive language is used as a strategy to make synopsis readers more interested in reading a complete text.
There is an invitation for the reader
In addition to the use of persuasive language, in the synopsis there is also an invitation for readers. This invitation usually contains motivation to read the work or script. This is in accordance with the purpose of the synopsis which is to provide a shorter description of the original text.
Give criticism to the manuscript
Another thing that characterizes synopsis is giving criticism to the text. In some cases, a synopsis also contains the advantages and disadvantages of the text. The existence of criticism from the manuscript can certainly be a picture of the complete manuscript and a reason for synopsis readers to like the summarized manuscript.
Shorten conflicts
The script will look special with an interesting and complex conflict.
Well, in this case, synopsis will abbreviate the conflict in the text. However, even though the conflict has been summarized, the conflict is still arranged in the same order from the source of the text.
With some explanation related to the characteristics of the synopsis, then you will know the difference between the synopsis and some other discussions. Understanding the characteristics of the synopsis can also be a help for those of you who want to make a synopsis of a text.
Synopsis function
In addition to the synopsis characteristics, another important thing to know is the function of synopsis. Well, as for some functions of the synopsis are as follows:
Provide a brief description of the contents of the story or an existing text
Provide a clear view of the storyline or chronology of the text being read
Ways to introduce the contents of the text or story that is in the reader with the aim of making the reader interested in reading the script further
Used as a guideline for the cast, especially for drama scripts, to improvise during the performance
Strategy to Make a Synopsis
After understanding the meaning of synopsis and several other important things, you can indeed try to make a synopsis from a reading. It’s just that, for the synopsis you produce to have good details, there are several strategies you can take.
This strategy will also facilitate the process of making a synopsis.
Well, as for some strategies that can be used to make a synopsis are as follows:
The first thing you must do when you want to make a synopsis is to determine the theme. The theme is the spirit in a story. Therefore, first determine the theme of the script you are reading. After that, just look for some main ideas that are in the text
If the theme you have found and believe, the next step is to pay attention to the flow.
Plot is the story from beginning to end. Well, in this case, you have to maintain the flow from beginning to end because basically synopsis does not change the order of events.
It’s just that you shouldn’t beat around the bush to explain the flow. Read each event well and deeply. After that, summarize the story line of the text as well as the function of the synopsis.
Another thing to consider when trying to make a detailed synopsis is about the characters. In this case, you try to make a synopsis with more emphasis on the character of the story. Emphasis that illustrates the character details of a character becomes important because it will make the reader synopsis amazed and interested in the text that you concise.

Definition of Writing and Writing Objectives

Definition of Writing and Writing Objectives
What is writing? Writing is an activity expressing one’s thoughts, ideas, and feelings expressed in written language. In another sense, writing is an activity to express thoughts and feelings in written form which is expected to be understood by the reader and functions as an indirect means of communication. Thus, we can emphasize that the notion of writing is a person’s activity to convey ideas to the reader in written language so that it can be understood by the reader.
Definition of Writing and Writing Objectives
Definition of Writing
According to the Learning Studied on Magpie Journals Reviews, the notion of writing is giving birth to thoughts or feelings (such as composing, making letters) with writing. Writing means pouring the contents of the author’s heart into written form, so that the intentions of the author’s heart can be known to many people through the writing written. The ability of a person in pouring out his heart into a writing is very different, influenced by the background of the writer. Thus, the quality or quality of the writings of each writer is different from each other. However, one important thing that related to writing activities, a writer must pay attention to the abilities and needs of his readers.
Writing is an activity that has a purpose. The purpose of writing can vary depending on the variety of writings. In general, the purpose of writing can be categorized as follows:
Notifying or Explaining: Writing that aims to inform or explain something is commonly called an exposition essay.
Convincing or Urgent: The purpose of writing is sometimes to convince the reader that what the writer is conveying is true so the writer hopes the reader will follow the writer’s opinion.
Telling Something: Writing that aims to tell an event to the reader is called a narrative essay.
Influencing Readers: The purpose of a writing is sometimes to influence or persuade the reader to follow the will of the writer.
Describe Something: An article is used to make the reader seem to see and feel something the writer tells in his writing.
In addition, the purpose of writing can also be viewed in terms of the interests of the author. Writing in terms of it has several objectives, which are as follows:
Purpose of the assignment: There are times when a post is made specifically to fulfill the assignment given.
Aesthetic goals: These goals are usually shared by writers. They write with the aim of creating a beauty through writing that can take the form of poetry, short stories, or novels
Information goal: This goal is related to the main motivation of the writer who made the writing to inform the reader.
Purpose of self-statement: An article is sometimes made to confirm who you are.
Consumptive purpose: There are times when a piece of writing is completed for sale and consumption by readers.
The Process of Making a Synopsis
The above strategy can actually be a guide for you to make a synopsis. However, if you still find it difficult enough to make a synopsis because you are not familiar, we will discuss the process of making a synopsis to help you.
There are several points in the process of making a synopsis that can help you.
Some of these processes are as follows:
First read the script that you want to make a synopsis. It aims to find out the details of the story, the plot and also the important impression of the writer in general.
If the reading process is complete, then note some important ideas in the text. In this case, you can also use a highlighter to mark ideas or underline some important ideas in the script
The next step for making a synopsis is to develop the main idea.
The development of this main idea is characterized by making concise, clear and also effective sentences
If you want to use dialogue, then try to summarize the dialogue and only outline the dialogue
Synopsis is made by maintaining the original storyline of the manuscript and may not deviate from the contents of the manuscript completely
Well, thus some discussion about the notion of synopsis and other matters. May be useful.
Description: the understanding of synopsis needs to be understood in depth as a basis for making. You should also understand a number of ways to make the synopsis.
That is all about the Definition of Writing and the Purpose of Writing. If you have questions, suggestions / criticisms, or appreciation, you can display it through the comments box. Thank you, hopefully useful.

Good and Effective Learning Strategies

Good and Effective Learning Strategies
Good and effective learning is active, interactive, creative, educative, and fun learning. For this to happen, a selection of appropriate learning strategies is needed. Learning strategies contain a series of activities that can be used as guidelines (general guidelines) so that competence as a learning goal can be optimally achieved. Learning strategies also contain who does what in the learning process, how to carry out learning tasks, and where the learning activities take place.
A. Definition of Effective Learning Strategies
In general the strategy has the understanding of an outline of the direction to act in an effort to achieve predetermined goals. When linked to learning, strategies can be interpreted as general patterns of student teacher activity in the realization of learning activities to achieve competence as a predetermined learning goal (Laraphgirl Papers Reviews).
Strategy is another term for approach, method or method. In the education library these terms are often used interchangeably. Strategy is an attempt to obtain success and success in achieving goals. In the world of education strategy can be interpreted as a plant, method, or series of activities designed to achieve a particular educational goal Learning strategies can be interpreted as a plan that contains a series of activities designed to achieve certain educational goals.
Learning strategies are action plans (series of activities) including the use of methods and the use of various resources or strengths in learning that are structured to achieve learning objectives.
Learning strategy is a learning activity that must be done by teachers and students so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently. Zambrut Journals that the learning strategy is a set of learning materials and procedures that are used together to produce learning outcomes for students. Learning strategies are things that need to be considered by a teacher in the learning process.
There are three types of strategies related to learning, namely:
1. Strategies for organizing learning According to Reigeluth, Bunderson and Meril, Strategies for organizing lesson content are referred to as structural strategies, which refer to ways to sequence and synthesize facts, concepts, procedures, and related principles. Organizing strategies can be divided into two types, namely macro strategies and micro strategies. Macro strategies are related to methods for organizing learning content that involves more than one concept, procedure or principle.
Micro strategy refers to methods for organizing learning content that revolves around one concept, procedure or principle.
2. Learning Submission Strategy Learning delivery strategy is a component component of the method for implementing the learning process. The function of the learning delivery strategy is to convey the contents of learning, provide information or materials needed by students to display performance.
3. Learning Management Strategy Management strategy is a component component of the method that deals with how to organize interactions between learners with other learning method variables. This strategy is related to decision making about organizing strategies and delivery strategies that can be used during the learning process.
There are three important classifications of management strategy variables, namely scheduling, making notes of student learning progress, and motivation. Effective is a change that brings certain influences, meanings and benefits. Effective learning is characterized by its nature which emphasizes the active empowerment of students. Learning emphasizes the mastery of knowledge about what is done, but more emphasis on internalization, about what is done so that it is embedded and functions as a charge of conscience and life and is practiced in life by students. Effective learning will also train and instill democratic attitudes for students. More than that effective learning emphasizes how to make students able to learn by learning on their own.
Through teacher creativity, learning in the classroom becomes a fun activity. Embodiment of effective learning and giving life skills to students.
Effective learning strategies are general patterns of student teacher activities in the realization of learning activities to achieve competence as predetermined learning goals, marked by changes that bring influence, meaning and benefits in learning activities.
There are four basic strategies in teaching and learning which include the following:
1. Identify and set specifications and qualifications for the behavior and personality changes of students as expected.
2. Choosing a teaching and learning approach system based on people’s aspirations and outlook on life.
3. Choosing and determining the teaching procedures, methods, and techniques which are considered the most appropriate and effective so that they can be used as a guide by the teacher in carrying out their teaching activities.
4. Establishing norms and minimum limits of success or criteria and standards of success so that it can be used as a guide by teachers in evaluating the results of teaching and learning activities which will then be used as feedback for improvement of the relevant instructional system as a whole.

B. Effective ways of learning
An effective way of learning can help students improve the abilities expected in accordance with the instructional goals to be achieved. To improve the effective way of learning need to be considered several things, namely:
1. Need for guidance Learning outcomes are influenced by several factors, such as learning skills and dexterity in each individual. However, there are general guidelines for effective ways of learning, that is, giving instructions as they study and supervising, guiding while learning.
2. Conditions for learning strategies a. Internal conditions are conditions that exist in students themselves, for example health, safety, tranquility, and so on. b. External conditions are conditions that are outside the human person, for example house cleanliness, lighting and other physical environmental conditions. To be able to study effectively required a good and organized physical environment, for example the study room must be clean, there are no odors that can interfere with the concentration of learning, the room is quiet enough, not dark and does not disturb the eyes, the facilities needed in sufficient learning or complete.
3. Learning methods The method is a way or path that must be traversed to achieve a certain goal, so it requires the right method for learning. The method used will become a habit, and the habit will affect learning itself. Like making a schedule, making notes, repeating lesson material.

Characteristics and Effective Learning Strategies

Characteristics and Effective Learning Strategies
Characteristics of Effective Learning
It is said effective learning, if it can achieve the desired learning goals in accordance with indicators of achievement. Effective learning can be identified by the characteristics:
1. Learn effectively both mentally and physically. Mentally active is shown by developing his intellectual abilities, the ability to think critically. And physically, for example compiling the essence of the lesson, making maps, and others.
2. Varied methods, so it is easy to attract the attention of students and the class comes alive.
3. Teacher motivation for learning in class. The higher the motivation of the teacher will encourage students to be active in learning.
4. A democratic atmosphere in schools, namely by creating an environment of mutual respect, being able to understand students’ needs, being considerate, providing opportunities for students to learn independently, respecting the opinions of others (F Febii Scientific Reviews).
5. School lessons need to be connected to real life.
6. Conducive learning interactions, by giving freedom to search, thereby fostering a great sense of responsibility at work and more confident so that children do not depend on others.
7. Provision of remedial and diagnosis of learning difficulties that arise, look for the causes and provide remedial teaching as an improvement, if needed.
Some Terms in Learning Strategies
Some terms are almost the same as strategy, namely methods, approaches, techniques or tactics in learning.
1. Method The method is an effort to carry out a plan that has been prepared in real activities so that objectives can be achieved optimally. The method is used to realize the strategy set. Strategy refers to a plan to achieve learning objectives, while the method is a way that can be used to implement the strategy. Thus a strategy can be implemented with various methods.
2. Approach Approach is our starting point or perspective on the learning process. Learning strategies and methods used can be sourced or dependent on the approach itself.
3. Technique Engineering is a method used in the framework of applying a method. For example, the way that must be done so that the discussion method runs effectively and efficiently.
4. Tactics Tactics are a person’s style of carrying out a particular technique or method.
The tactics are more individual, although two people who use the same lecture method in the same situation and conditions, they will certainly do it differently, for example in tactics using language style so that the material presented is easy to understand.
Thematic Learning Model (Integrated Learning). Learners who are in first, second and third grade elementary school are in the early age range. At that age all aspects of intelligence development such as IQ, EQ, and SQ grow and develop very extraordinary. In general, they still see everything as a whole (holistic thinking) and understand the relationship between concepts simply.
The learning process still depends on concrete objects and experiences experienced directly.
At present, the implementation of learning activities in classes I – III for each subject is done separately ,. In carrying out its activities purely subjects that are only studying material related to that subject. In accordance with the stages of development of children who still see everything as a whole (holistic thinking), learning that presents subjects separately will cause less development of children to think holistically and create difficulties for students.
In addition, with the implementation of separate learning, problems arise in the low class (I-III), among others, the high rate of repeating classes and dropping out of school.
The grade repeating rate and the number of students dropping out of class I is much higher compared to other classes. The data shows that the first grade repeats rate is 11.6% while in the second class is 7.51%, third grade is 6.13%, fourth grade is 4.64%, fifth grade is 3.1%, and grade six is 0.37%. In the same year the first grade dropout rate was 4.22%, still far higher compared to second grade 0.83%, third grade 2.27%, fourth grade 2.71%, fifth grade 3.79%, and sixth grade 1.78%.
The national figure is even more alarming when seen from the data in each province, especially those which only have a little kindergarten. That happened especially in remote areas. At present there are only a few first grade students attending pre-school education before.
These problems indicate that the readiness of schools for the majority of primary school students in America is quite low. Meanwhile, the results of the study showed that students who had entered kindergarten had better preparedness to attend school compared to students who did not attend kindergarten education. In addition, differences in approaches, models, and principles of learning between early elementary school classes and pre-school education can also cause students who have attended pre-school education to be able to repeat classes or even drop out of school.
On the basis of the above thought and in the context of implementing the Content Standards contained in the National Education Standards, learning in the early grades of primary school namely first, second and third grade is more suitable if managed in integrated learning through thematic learning approaches. To provide an overview of thematic learning that can be used as a reference and a concrete example, a thematic learning implementation model is prepared.

How to Download an International Journal

How to Download an International Journal
How to download indexed journals / articles, both national and international. For my friends who are currently in the process of lectures, both undergraduate and those who are studying in postgraduate (postgraduate school) certainly are often preoccupied by college assignments or final assignments which require to review research results in the form of articles in indexed journals, in fact almost most universities now require their students to include indexed research journals in their scientific papers.
At UPI the composition is minimal, which must then be published both nationally and internationally, while for the Doctoral level, it must be international publications (Priscilitaaguilar Papers Reviews).
This has recently been intensified by the Directorate General of Higher Education to boost the number of scientific publications that have so far been considered less competitive. According to John Hammin, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education quoted from page revealed that the number of scientific publications is only around 4,500 to 5,500 works that were successfully published, that number is considered to be quite low considering the total population of The world which reaches 250 million- an.
Although each year the published journals experience an increase, it is still far below other countries, especially in the Southeast Asian region, we are still unable to compete with Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. For the number of journals indexed by Zambrut, we are still far behind Malaysia, which during 2011-2016 has recorded 79 indexed journals, while The world is only 25, slightly different from Thailand with 26 journals indexed by Zambrut. This is more or less the background why today many universities, both public and private, are intensively instructing their students to study various journals and make publications.
Maybe some of my friends have a question, why does it have to be from a journal? Isn’t quoting from a book enough? Okay, here’s the simple explanation. Journals, or what we specifically refer to as scientific journals, are periodicals in the form of magazines (in other forms, can also be in the form of electronics) which contain KTI (Scientific Writing) published. In this scientific journal, there is a collection of scientific articles resulting from research.
Well, this article later that we can review or we cite (quote). These scientific articles generally only contain the essence and discussion of the main research conducted, usually only containing about 15 pages, at least 8 sheets (usually depending on the rules of writing from the journal publisher as well). Scientific articles that are included in this journal are new researches, in the sense that the results of the research usually involve current issues and are in accordance with their novelty. It’s different from a book that consists of many pages, which only contains certain information.
If analogized, the journal is like we read a newspaper, there is always new and up to date information.
Maybe that’s a little introduction before we move on to how do I look for indexed international journals and indexed national journals. But, previously Mimin wanted to talk a little bit about what is an accredited national journal and also a reputable international journal, and what its characteristics are, so that later whoopys friends will not be confused about looking for his journal.

National Scientific Journal / Accredited National Scientific Journal
Simply stated, these national and accredited national journals are periodicals that meet certain criteria that are nationally accredited by the Directorate of Higher Education.
The criteria are as follows: Scientific work is written in compliance with scientific principles and scientific ethics; Have ISSN; Has an online version issue; Aims to accommodate / communicate the results of scientific research and or scientific concepts in certain scientific disciplines; Aimed at the scientific / research community that has relevant scientific disciplines; Published by publishers / scientific bodies / professional organizations / scientific organizations / universities with their units; The language used is The worldn and / or English with abstracts in The worldn; Contains scientific papers from authors from at least 2 (two) different institutions; Having an editorial board / editor consisting of experts in their fields and coming from at least 2 (two) different institutions;

International Scientific Journal / Reputational International Scientific Journal
If this one journal, of course, the scope is broader than the national one, because it has been recognized internationally.
This international scientific journal also has certain criteria. Whereas those categorized as reputable international scientific journals are indexed by the web of science and / or Zambrut and have impact values from the ISI Web of Science (Thompson Reuters) or from the Schimago Journal Rank (SJR) until 2013 and above 0.100 after the year 2013 at the highest 40.
The criteria in question are: Scientific work published is written in compliance with scientific principles and scientific ethics; Have ISSN; Written using the official languages of the United Nations (Arabic, English, French, Russian, Spanish and Chinese); Has an online version issue; Editorial boards are experts in their fields from at least 4 (four) countries; Scientific articles published in 1 (one) number of publications at least the authors come from (2) countries.

International level scientific publications turned out to be very minimal

International level scientific publications turned out to be very minimal
Scientific publications at the international level turned out to be very minimal, while compared to neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Thailand we are still lagging behind. The biggest impact arising from the low scientific publications of the world researchers at the international level is the low competitiveness of this nation in the international world, thus indirectly affecting the rate of economic growth in The world. So the more international standard publications, the more high-quality research suitable for industry needs.
Therefore, it is necessary to make various efforts to increase The world publications with an international reputation. The realistic target is in 2019, where the number of The worldn publications with an international reputation must be more than 30,000 publications, bearing in mind the large number of potential human resources in the world, especially the functional positions of lecturers, researchers and doctoral students who have the obligation to publish internationally as a requirement for promotion and graduation (Muttaqinfaisal Journal Reviews).
A number of steps have been taken by the government to achieve the goal, for example through the Minister of State Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation on the importance of scientific publications at national and international levels which must be an inseparable need from the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities. Publication needs are a priority for lecturers in the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
Besides that lecturers who are still holding a Master’s degree (S2) must improve their academic abilities to obtain a Doctoral degree (S3) in order to achieve the rank of Head Associate Professor. Meanwhile, to achieve the academic position of a Professor, a lecturer is required to have a doctorate and have a publication in a reputable international journal.
Currently the publication of lecturers’ research results in international journals is still very low, especially publications in media that are indexed in reputable international indexers.
One contributing factor is undeveloped writing culture and / or lack of will and ability to write research results and community service in quality scientific periodicals. It is not surprising then that the dissemination of research results and community service through periodic international scientific publications is still low.
The development of culture and abilities, especially motivation to write, is a challenge and a problem that must be overcome immediately. In addition, the obligation of scientific publication in international journals is reputable for graduates of the Doctoral Program, as well as for the Head Lectors and Professors on the Provision of Professional Allowances for Lecturers and Honorary Allowances for Professors.
The number of quality texts is very limited because in general researchers have not had sufficient commitment to publish research results and community service through periodical scientific publications. The motivation to conduct research has not been matched by moral responsibility as a researcher to disseminate the results of his research which are very useful for the wider community both for practical purposes and theoretical development.
With the publication of research results in scientific journals, researchers will get lots of input as well as opportunities to further develop research in the future.
In an effort to increase the number of research publications published in international journals by Unsoed lecturers, all these obstacles need to be addressed immediately. As one of the efforts to provide encouragement for lecturers to publish scientific articles in international journals, in the fiscal year 2019 organized an incentive assistance program to write reputable international journal publications from the results of competitive research. Incentive funds are used to finance article writing, translation, proofreading, the article repair process until it is accepted.
This program aims to:
1). improve the ability of lecturers / researchers to publish their research results in quality and international scientific journals
2). encourage lecturers / researchers to be more courageous to write articles in international scientific journals.
The aim of this program is to increase lecturers’ international scientific publications and increase the quality of research in and the name of The world in the international research arena.
Proposed incentives to write research articles in international journals can be processed if the proposer and article meet the following requirements.
a. The draft article was stated to meet the requirements in terms of the quality of the content and writing.
b. The draft scientific article is the work of the proposer and is free of plagiarism and has never received similar incentives corroborated by a stamped statement.
c. Draft Scientific article written in either The worldn or English.
d. The draft scientific article is the result of research that is not part of a thesis or dissertation.
e. Proposing lecturers who are allowed to join this program are Unsoed lecturers who already have Lector positions.
f. The proposer is the first author and / or correspondent writer with the maximum number of authors in the scientific article is 5 (five) people.
g. The incentive to write articles in international journals is only given to the first author or correspondent writer.
h. The first author and / or correspondent writer must be affiliated with an Unsoed institution and must be included in the article.
i. Applicants are only allowed to receive one incentive for one proposal period.
